Nestled conveniently in the heart of Melbourne CBD, Mad Monkey Melbourne offers a delightful retreat for young travelers and those young at heart, like myself. Just a pleasant 20-minute stroll from the city center, the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore local gems and taste the vibrant culture that Melbourne has to offer. What truly impressed me was the cleanliness of the shared facilities, with attentive staff always around to keep everything spick and span. Our private room was surprisingly comfy, a coziness that's enhanced by lovely decor, and if you enjoy a breath of fresh air, the windows that open and the overhead fan were an absolute bonus during the warm days. The rooftop space was the cherry on top, where we savored free BBQ nights while soaking in the views over Melbourne-a perfect way to unwind after a day of adventures. For those new to the city, this place is a treasure trove of camaraderie; the communal kitchen is well-equipped and the free breakfast, including pancakes on Sundays, is a delightful perk. I left Mad Monkey feeling refreshed, having experienced a unique blend of youthful energy and comfort, and craved more of this city-ichose well!
